Birdy Notebook

A recent trip to a local fabric store proved to be more fun that anticipated!  I found a box back behind a thousand bolts of fabric, and in it were pre-cut pieces of fabric going much cheaper than the main displays.  This was my favorite one I found, and I knew I wanted to use it for something I would see a lot.  So I got myself a $0.80 mini-notebook and covered it with my little birdies!

I just traces the notebook, adding some extra to wrap around the covers, and hot glued them in place.

I then cut a couple pieces of card stock to place inside.  The little birdie inside is my fave.

I'll probably add some wording above the bird next.  Maybe one of these quotes...

Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings.
Salvador Dali

No bird soars too high if he soars with his own wings.
William Blake
